Who we are

This website is operated by ARDENWORKS.IO LIMITED, trading as Arden Works (“Arden Works”, “we”, “us”), a private limited company registered in England and Wales with company number 17561630. Our registered office is 4 The Rookery, Alveston, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 7QP. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, please email info@ardenworks.io.

The information we collect

When you send us an enquiry using the form on this website, we collect the details you choose to give us:

  • your name and email address
  • your organisation and phone number, if you provide them
  • the subject you select and the content of your message

If you email us directly, we receive your email address and anything included in your message.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to keep the website secure and working properly.

How we use your information

We use the information you send us to reply to your enquiry, to discuss how we might work together and, if you become a client, to provide our services. We do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to, and we never sell it.

Our lawful basis

Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries about our business. Where you ask us about providing services, we also process your information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the service providers we need to run this website and our business, who act on our instructions:

  • Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and processes enquiry form submissions.
  • Namecheap, Inc. provides our email service (Private Email), which delivers and stores our email.

We may also disclose information where the law requires us to.

International transfers

Netlify and Namecheap are based in the United States, and our email is stored there, so information you send us through this website or by email may be processed in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards permitted under UK law, such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless they lead to a working relationship, in which case we keep the relevant records for as long as we need them to provide our services and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • ask us to delete your information
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information
  • ask us to transfer your information to another organisation, where applicable

To exercise any of these rights, email info@ardenworks.io. We will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
